This
monogram is my favorite. It is my initials twisted around eachother.
The large letter in the center is the Shin for my last
name. The letters on each side of the Shin are the
Aleph for my first name, and the Mem for my
middle name. |
| This
monogram was a very different idea. I drew the two letters for
each of the first names inside a large drawing of the first
letter of the last name. The outer larger letter is the Mem.
The twist here is that I made the first letter of each of their
first names out of the negative space inside the Mem.
You can see the lighter area inside the Mem is in fact
a Mem for the first name of the woman, and an Aleph
for the first name of the man. Additionally, I connected the
inner Mem and Aleph by using the same piece
to make the top branch of the Aleph and the little
piece of the Mem. |

This
design is a very popular one. It is a flower made of the first
letter of the couple’s names. The flower is made of the
Shin for the couple's last name. The leaves are the
first letter of each of their first and middle names. The left
leaf is made of a Yud and an Ayin for the
man's first and middle names. The right leaf is made of an Aleph
and a Mem for the woman's first and middle names. |
